About Cortney

Cortney Knudson completed cosmetology school and was licensed in 1988. After a three-month cutting course with Vidal Sassoon Academy, she became a Vidal Sassoon member in Beverly Hills.

Cortney later moved to the Pastels Salon in San Francisco, where she worked as a stylist and managed the intern program. She mentored licensed cosmetologists in their training to become certified stylists for Pastels.

In 1998, Cortney opened her own salon and wedding services in Tahoe City.

Throughout the years Cortney has done hair for many brides, runway and fashion shows, photo shoots, TV shows, and movies. She has also taught classes to other licensed cosmetologists in both cutting and updos.
